Euro 2012 Day Eight

Hello! Very short one today! Day eight coverage will be covered on Day Nine, as I will be watching the games in the pub, and am expected to be fairly merry by the time I have stumbled home - regardless of the result!!

ME!

I am a 37yo Goalkeeper, and a bit of a football nut! I no longer play 11 a side, as my knees cannot take it, but I refuse to give up on 5 a side, even though it's a struggle to move the following day. I play on a Wednesday for a team called PATHETICO MADRID. I used to play on Sunday too, but that team has folded, and I refuse to give up, so am on the look out for a new team!!

I am a season ticket holder at Everton FC, I used to go home and away, but now it's just home games, with the odd local away game thrown in for a day out with the lads!! I wondered why people wrote blogs, and then the season ended, and I had no idea how to fill my time up!

So, sit back, enjoy the read, feel free to banter and share opinions and thoughts on any sport. This blog is a sport blog, but mainly football (including my own 5 a side team!!). I don't profess to be great at this, but as the legendary Brian Clough once said, "I might not be the best manager in the world, but I know I am in the top one!" (obviously, you need to be artisitc here and replace manager with blogger...lol).
